This weekend we headed home "sweet" home to Tamaqua for a visit, and decided to take a trip to the Peanut Shop, located in Port Clinton, Pa. What a little hidden gem with everything that could satisfy a sweet tooth. I can't image how many times a day those people hear, “Remember those?”, as this sweet shop is filled with so much old time candy: From gum drops perfectly aligned to rock candy, malt balls and jelly beans that fill the surrounding walls, and any type of nut and chocolate delight, this place a sure stop if your passing by the area. You won't be disappointed. I think it would give Willy Wonka a run for his money. Wishing you a sugary sweet Sunday.
OMG! That's a lot of candy! I think I've had enough candy for a day-- no, wait. Make that for a month, or maybe a year even. The people here are that close to making me a sweet tooth. Yes, I eat sweets, but not as much as they do. Oh, but we all take care of our teeth well, so... all's well, I guess.
