If in fact you don't know about the kindovermatter site just yet, take a little moment to visit. I can almost guarantee it will put a smile on your face as it does mine each and every day...A true breath of fresh air and a celebration of life.
A huge thank you to all the beautiful women we met at a private fund raising event at Silverbox on Saturday evening for Adelaide's Place at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Francisvale Home for Smaller Animals. The raindrops were no obstacle for the great company that was kept that evening. We mingled with cocktails and tasty snacks and had such a great time taking photos of each of the women. They were all ravishing to say the least! Thanks again for a fun-filled night!
I received an email posting about this great cause that benefits the earthquake victims of Haiti and thought I'd pass it along to the fellow online design community. An absolute beautiful tribute by myfonts.com.
They've have created an extra slot this month for Coming Together, an amazing font that was produced for a good casue. Font Aid IV is a designers’ initiative to benefit the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. The font consists entirely of ampersands, representing the idea of people coming together to help one another. Nearly 400 type designers, graphic designers and other artists from around the world contributed. All proceeds from sales will go to Doctors Without Borders to help with their relief efforts in Haiti. (Needless to say, MyFonts and other distributors refrain from their usual commission.) Coming Together contains over 400 glyphs and is supplied as a single OpenType font for Windows and Mac OS X.
We had such an entertaining photo session with this little musician. She came in the studio sporting her pink tutu and guitar, but don't let the tutu fool you. She played the entire song of Give a Little Bit in Goo Goo Dolls fashion. It was terrific! Keep up the good work! Oh, those lashes ;)
I was just looking through some Silverbox designs and found this wedding invitation from a couple years ago. This color green just doesn't get old to me. Here's a link to one of my favorite sites for inspiration when I need some help with mixing and matching colors.
Yesterday we had received such a beautiful flower arrangement from our floral designer, we had to share. Flowers by Keren is a florist in the Collegeville, Pa area that specializes in locally fresh cut flower arrangements. Silverbox is graced by these creative works-of-art monthly and it's one special treat every time a new masterpiece comes through our doors. Keren's dedication to her work is unsurpassed. We receive these arrangements every month, even when there are no flowers to be cut, as this month's display was made from beautiful paper! If your interested in your own stunning arrangement, you can contact Keren at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We just got back from a long relaxing weekend in Key West with some great friends. Thought I'd post a few pictures of the island through my eyes. Truly, it was one of the most colorful places I've ever visited.
Do you have a bunch of photos from your vacation all tucked away on your computer? Would you love a collage of your time away? If so, we'd love to help you bring them out and enjoy your memories too.
